Welcome to a typical summertime weather pattern!
Typical early July weather to continue across the Northern Plains with periodic chances for severe thunderstorms. Please take a look at our main weather page for specifics as I am on vacation.
Present indications point to hotter weather building into the region over the next two weeks, but that is nothing surprising considering we`re coming into the hottest time of the year anyway. Highs could even top out in the lower 100s sometime around July 10th.
I will update upon my return from vacation the week of July 7th.
Please note:
Kevin`s Corner is for longer-term trends, and is not intended to provide specific dates severe weather will occur. Unlike winter storms we can see several days into the future, summer convective activity (thunderstorms) cannot be determined as to their potential severity more than 3 days out. We can only speculate disturbances that are slated to move though, which can produce active weather.
