Children of all ages are getting to see all that the outdoors can offer in North Dakota at the State Fair. The Game and Fish Department is giving visitors a free, hands-on experience right here.
From fishing to archery and BB guns, fairgoers can get feel like they`re in the great outdoors even though they`re just steps from the midway.
Officers at Game and Fish say there`s no better place to show what the outdoors in our state are all about than the fair.
“Most of the time when you run into a Game and Fish guy he`s asking you: `Can I see your license? How many fish do you have? Let me check your deer tag.` Out here you actually get to visit and see how we manage our resource,” said Greg Gullickson of the Game and Fish Department.
The Game and Fish Pathways experience is open every day at the fair from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. |
