ND Libertarians Ask for Injunction Against Jaeger
Associated Press
7/30/2010
An attorney for three Libertarian candidates for the North Dakota Legislature is asking a judge to allow the men on the November ballot.

Oliver Hall of the Center for Competitive Democracy in Washington has filed a lawsuit in federal court about a state law that requires candidates to get a minimum number of votes in their party`s primary election. The attorney says North Dakota is the only state that has that requirement.

In the meantime, Hall wants an injunction to force Secretary of State Al Jaeger to list Richard Ames, Thommy Passa and Anthony Stewart on the ballot.
