Alleged Intoxicated Attendant may be Reason for Cancelled Flight

| 2/20/2012

It appears a flight attendant, in violation of an alcohol policy, may be the reason for a cancelled flight out of Grand Forks yesterday afternoon. A 50 passenger Pinnacle jet flight was cancelled and passengers were put on other flights.

A spokesperson for Pinnacle Airlines says they`re conducting a detailed investigation, but he cannot comment on the allegation a flight attendant was intoxicated.

However, the attendant from that flight has been relieved of duty, pending the outcome of the investigation. Pinnacle has the requirement that every member of the flight crew be alcohol free 12 hours before a flight.
