Fatal Collision Near Amidon

One person was killed in a collision near Amidon today.

The crash happened on Highway 85 south of Amidon when an suv tried to pass a semi. The road was icy and snow-packed. The driver of the Jeep Cherokee lost control of the vehicle and hit the back of the semi-trailer.

One of the passengers was killed, the driver and another passenger were both injured and taken to the hospital. The driver of the semi was not hurt.
