E-Filing Your Taxes

The clock is ticking. If you don`t get your taxes filed by the April 17 deadline, you could have the IRS on your hands. Tax Commissioner Cory Fong is encouraging taxpayers to use E-file to get your taxes done quicker and avoid the last minute rush to the post office.

He says E-filing is the preferred method since it reduces the potential for errors and helps taxpayers claim all of the deductions they`re entitled to, which could mean a larger refund for some.

Last year 75 percent of returns were filed electronically.
