Garden Expo Returns to Bismarck | Video

The Garden Expo was back at the Bismarck Civic Center today. More than twenty vendors were at the Civic Center selling plants, seeds, and other garden products. Experts from NDSU also held seminars for the public, giving advice on growing vegetables, lawn care and planting fruits. Thousands of garden products were given away to patrons for free.

"You can pick up a free plant and packages of seeds, trying the NDSU variety trials is another option," said North Dakota State University official, Jeri Fischer. "I think its a great day for family, kids, anybody who`s interested in gardening."

The expo is the largest gardening event in North Dakota.
