| 4/16/2012

Police say a 19-year-old man was hurt while attempting to climb over a stopped train in downtown Grand Forks. Authorities say the man apparently became entangled on an apparatus of the train. When he jumped off, he twisted or broke his ankle. The man was taken by ambulance to a local hospital.

Just last month a University of North Dakota student was found dead in a Grand Forks rail yard. A preliminary investigation determined the student was hit by a train.
