SADD Conference | Video

Kristin Clouston | 4/18/2012

Students from Bismarck and Dickinson are working together to encourage their classmates to make good choices. Today Wachter Middle School hosted a conference for members of Students Against Destructive Decisions. High school SADD leaders and advisors worked with the middle schoolers on various team building and leadership exercises.

"The transition can be difficult for students and so that`s why these years are critical. It`s when students decide if they want to be the type of students who want to do drugs and party or if they want to be a good roll model for themselves and others," said CHS senior Carrie Sandstrom.

The teens were also able to discuss specific issues at their schools and give each other advice on how SADD members should handle them.
