The individual whose name appears on this notification has been convicted of a crime against a child or an attempted crime against a child, or has pleaded guilty to a sexual offense. In accordance with North Dakota State Law this individual must register as a sexual offender or an offender against children.

The offender is not wanted by the police at this time and has served the sentence imposed by the court. This notification is not intended to increase fear in the community.

Information Narrative: Mr. Ashley is a lifetime high risk offender due to convictions of Gross Sexual Imposition on November 5, 1997 and Possession of Child Pornography on November 21, 2002 in Dunn County District Court.

In the first conviction Mr. Ashley molested a boy and a girl, both whose ages were below 11. While on supervised probation for the GSI charge Mr. Ashley was charged with Possession of Child Pornography after images were found on his instant message profile. He was recently released from incarceration.
