Seeing Double | Video

| 6/5/2012

A middle school in Simsbury, Connecticut is trying to break a very unusual world record.

Henry James Memorial Middle is home to 25 sets of twins and three sets of triplets.

"We got on the line with Guinness and tried to find out which records we could break, and they came back and said you definitely have the most multiples in one school!" says principal Susan Homrok-Lemke.

Most students at the school didn`t realize they were in so much "multiple" company.

All of the "multiples" brought in two forms on identification and a letter from their parents verifying they were in fact twins or triplets.

A lieutenant from the Simsbury Police Department and representative from the Chamber of Commerce served as witnesses and signed off on the paperwork to make it official.

School officials say all the necessary paper work will be sent to London where Guinness judges will look it all over and hopefully in the next edition of the Guinness Book of World Records, you`ll see the kids on one of the pages.
