Sleepy Hollow Theatre Gets Makeover | Video

Alex Hagan | 6/16/2012

The Sleepy Hollow Theatre stage is getting a makeover. Lowe`s of Bismarck is volunteering their time and skills to rebuild the stage.

The theatre is used for local performances and classes during the year. Lowe`s employees say it is very important to make sure the theatre is in top condition.

"It gives the kids something to do. It makes it feel more of a city. It gives them opportunities that they normally wouldn`t have. We run classes during the summer that they get to come out and they do a little Lady Gaga stuff. We have Harry Potter stuff for them to do. It`s just a wonderful program for making Bismarck have more that bigger city feel," said set carpenter Brandt Wolf.

The volunteers will be working for three days to ensure the stage is complete for the upcoming musical performance of Grease.
