Diehards Line up for Batman Premiere | Video

Alexander Gorney | 7/19/2012

Diehards of the Batman series will be sitting in movie theaters nationwide at midnight as The Dark Knight Rises premieres. At the Grand Theaters in Bismarck, about 130 fans of the caped crusader filled up one cinema to watch all three of the Christopher Nolan directed Batman films.

Some even went to the extreme in anticipation of the midnight release.

“We`ve been waiting for this movie to come out since the Dark Knight came out,” said Paul Jenson, who had been camping all night with some friends.

“We`re really excited so we got a camper all set up and we packed a cooler, so we`d be ready to sit out and keep watch and make sure we were the first ones in line,” said Demy Hall, who also camped out.

Employees expect about 600 people to attend the showings. The movie is about two and a half hours long, so movie goers can expect to get out of the theater at around 3:00 a.m.
