Although there haven`t been a lot of mosquitoes this summer West Nile activity has been detected in six blood donors. They aren`t counted as cases because they don`t show symptoms.
"We don`t want people to have that false sense of security that there`s no mosquitoes. I`m not gonna get bit because it can happen and sometimes you may not see the mosquitoes because the time they come out and bite is between dusk and dawn," said Michelle Feist with the North Dakota Department of Health.
Last year, the state had four human cases of West Nile.
