Frontier Airlines Resuming Service to Fargo

| 8/9/2012

An airline will return to the Fargo-Moorhead area and provide non-stop service to Denver later this year. Frontier Airlines announced that they will resume service in November.

Members of North Dakota`s Congressional delegation say this announcement is good news.

"We welcome Frontier Airlines back to Fargo’s Hector International Airport,” said Senator John Hoeven. “Our state’s airports are growing and serving more and more passengers each year. We’re pleased that those flying for business or pleasure will now have additional options in and out of Fargo-Moorhead.”

"This is very good news for the people of Fargo-Moorhead," Senator Kent Conrad said. "Competition is the lifeblood of our economy. The more competition we can attract to Fargo - and North Dakota in general - the better the service and the more affordable the air fares we will enjoy. The real winners today are Fargo`s families and business travelers."

Delta Airlines, United Airlines, American Airlines and Allegiant currently serve the Fargo area.
