Wild West Grill Fest | Video

The grilling continued in Mandan with the Wild West Grill Fest going on at Dykshoorn Park. Gates opened at 11:00 this morning. For three dollars, patrons can come to the Grill Fest and buy a variety of grilled items being served from eight different food tents.

If food isn`t your thing, there is also several shopping options. You can do all of this while live music plays throughout the day.

“We got bands all day in the park. Great food,” said Del Westch, Executive Director of the Mandan Progress Organization, which helped put on the event. “A lot of art and craft vendors out here. We have a pride of Dakota tent. We’ve got 60 something Pride of Dakota members that are underneath that tent so lots of great shopping. Good time to start your Christmas shopping.”

This is the third year of the grill fest. The event goes until midnight.
