Lake Sakakawea Oil Leak

According to Slawson Exploration President Todd Slawson, there was a mechanical failure on a cased well yesterday at 5:45 central time near the Van Hook Arm of Lake Sakakawea which caused an oil leak. Slawson said there were no injuries and the oil was contained on location.

Company officials are still investigating the incident.

Slawson Expolration is based out of Wichita, Kansas and has been drilling in the Williston Basin for 37 years.
