Two Remaining Juveniles In Custody | Video

Last night, we reported that the two remaining juvenile escapees from the North Dakota Youth Correctional Center were taken into custody. Donnie Lee Jr. and Robert (Bobby) Devine had been hiding out in Minot and were turned over to police by the father of one of the juveniles.

They are currently being held in the Ward County jail where they are waiting for paperwork to be completed. Then they`ll be taken back to the YCC in Mandan.

"What`s gonna happen is they will be charged in the jurisdiction where the crime was committed. The auto theft, that took place in Mandan, the assault that took place in Mandan will be charged in there and the stolen autos and things that happened here in Minot and it will be up to the State`s Attorney of each county corresponding with each other and see how they want to handle it," said Captain Steve Kukowski, Ward County Sheriff`s Department.

Once the State`s Attorney reviews all of the information, they will determine if the five juveniles should be charged in adults or as juveniles. The Sheriff`s Department also says that anyone who was helping hide the juveniles can be charged with harboring a fugitive.
