Glen Ullin Woman Sentenced on Embezzlement Charges

A Glen Ullin woman was sentenced today for embezzling money from a credit union. Georgia Schwartz, 59, will have to pay over $130,000 and will have three years of supervised release.

According to the U.S. Attorney`s Office, Schwartz had been taking money from accounts at the Western Cooperative Credit Union from 1987 to 2009. Schwartz was ordered to pay $130,119.19 in restitution and a $100 special assessment to the Crime Victim`s Fund.
