It doesn`t matter if these thoughts on becoming a senior were positive or negative, our minds can convince ourselves that these age stereotypes are true.
Society sometimes can shape some of those negative thoughts into our daily lifestyle, but as Trinity Health clinical therapist Dr. Denise Roeick explains, there are a few things you can do to eliminate some of those growing pains.
"It`s okay to be positive, it`s okay to look at your past and be satisfied, it`s okay to share with one person what you are happy about and okay with."
Dr. Roeick says although it may take more effort the best medicine you can give yourself is a positive outlook on life.
