Five Injured in Crash

Five people were injured in a crash on Main Avenue in Bismarck this afternoon. Police say just after 2:00, the driver of a Pontiac pulled out into traffic and was struck by an oncoming suburban. Officers say both the driver and the passenger in the car are from Bismarck. Three people riding in the suburban were also taken to the hospital.

Officers closed off the eastbound lanes of Main Avenue while they investigated the wreck. Police say the extent of the injuries is unknown.
