Don’t Buy It, Until We Try It: Easy Feet | Video

Our feet get a tough work out, especially during the winter. Pedicures can be expensive, but there may be a way to do it yourself and save a little money. In this week`s "Don`t Buy It, Until We Try It," I tried out Easy Feet.

They advertise Easy Feet as a product that will clean, exfoliate and massage your feet. All you have to do is put the flip flop on and it will suction to the tub.

But, does this product actually work? Well, "Don`t Buy It, Until We Try It."

Winter means dry hands and feet. And, for Solitude Salon and Day Spa Manager Lorainne Sehn, that means doing more pedicures. "We do like a full 5-6 minute massage and then we also do a cooling mask and hot towels," she said.

While Sehn is happy with her current system, she`s always looking for ways to help customers in between pedicures. “Anything is better than nothing,” said Sehn. “Soaking time is really important, exfoliating is really important."

So, we decided to put Easy Feet to the test. We pulled it out of the box and it was ready to use. "It`s really bigger than I thought. And, the bristles are hard, so I`m thinking that`s really going to be a good thing."

We put Easy Feet in the bubbling water and suctioned it to the tub. Once Easy Feet was in place, Lorainne’s daughter, Breanna, moved her foot back and forth using the pumice and bristles like advertised on TV. "It was kind of tickly, but I liked it,” she said.

Once we were done soaking, it was time to pull out Easy Foot. While there was not any wear and tear yet. Over time, the pumice could wear down.

"It seemed like it took off some of the dead skin and kind of helped a little," said Lorainne.

"The top of my foot feels really smooth," said Breanna.

But, how does the Easy Foot compare to a professional pedicure?

Lorainne said, "I think for maintenance, in between pedicures, it would be great."

After we pulled Easy Feet out of the water, we lost a couple of bristles and one of the suction cups.

Overall, Easy Feet really did clean, exfoliate, and massage the feet. So, this week`s "Don`t Buy It, Until We Try It," earns a thumbs up.
