Theodore Roosevelt National Park to Waive Fees for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

Theodore Roosevelt National Park will waive both entrance and camping fees on January 21 for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. "Winter is a beautiful and quiet time to visit any of the national park units in North Dakota," said Superintendent Valerie Naylor. "Wildlife watching at this time of year is spectacular, as are the photographic opportunities. We invite everyone to take this opportunity to get outdoors and enjoy winter."
National parks will also offer free entrance on: National Park Week, April 22-26; National Park Service Founders` Day, August 25; National Public Lands Day, September 28; and the weekend of Veterans` Day, November 9 - 11.
