2012 Good Year for United Way Campaign

2012 was a good fundraising year for the Missouri Slope Areawide United Way. The group announced this morning that its fundraising campaign brought in $1,982,000. It was close enough to two million that a few people attending the group`s annual luncheon pledged a few thousand dollars more, topping the two-million dollar mark.

The money will help support 34 partner agencies this year.
