Super Squares | Video

Jerame Novak | 1/30/2013

Most teenagers love to play video games, but one Bismarck High Sophomore took his love of games to the next level by designing one of his own. Logan Boese developed the puzzle platformer game "Super Squares" for smartphones and tablets.

The game has been available for Android devices since November and was recently released on iTunes.

So far, the free version, which is only available on Amazon and Google has been downloaded over 10,000 times.

Not only did he create the game during his free time in between school and sports, but Boese also taught himself how to program it. "When I was really little, I just started messing around with some stuff and I watched some YouTube videos and just some tutorials and read a lot of manuals and stuff. After a while, I got pretty good at it and so I finally decided to release a game."

While he has some ideas for future games, Boese doesn`t have anything set up just yet.

You can check out the Super Squares on Facebook at www.facebook.com/crosshairgames or on Twitter @supersquaresapp.
