Sarahbeth Ackerman | 2/5/2013

The Ward County Sheriff`s Department is asking the public to help solve a hit and run injury accident that happened back in January. On Saturday, January 12, Minot PD received a report that a 41 year-old man was found seriously injured on the 2900 block of Valley Street.

The man was taken to the hospital, where it was confirmed he was hit by a car while he was walking into Minot. Even after his release from the hospital, he regularly has to see the doctor for treatments.

The Sheriff`s Department is asking for the public`s assistance on any information that could help solve this case.

"We actually solve a few crimes by people being on the look out. They help us out cause we can`t be everywhere at one time," said Sergeant Laura Forbes.

If anyone has information on this incident, call the Crime Stoppers Hotline at 852-7463. There is a cash reward up to one thousand dollars.
