Fatal Crash Near Rolette

A Minot woman is dead after she lost control of her vehicle and hit another vehicle this morning near Rolette. The 75 year old woman was traveling west bound on Highway 66 about seven miles west of Rolette at about 11:37 a.m. when she drove off the road because of icy conditions. She tried to correct, but ended up sliding across the road and into the path of an oncoming vehicle, which hit her car on the passenger side.

The woman was dead at the scene. The driver and passenger from the other vehicle were treated and released from the hospital.

The Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. Names have not been released.
