Alyssa Marino | 2/21/2013

It was another big day for Minot man and Medal of Honor recipient Clinton Romesha. This morning, he was honored by Congressional, state and other officials at the capitol. Governor Jack Dalrymple, along with Senator John Hoeven, Representative Kevin Cramer and General David Spryzynatick spoke on Romesha`s behalf.

Governor Dalrymple gave Romesha a North Dakota flag and a bottle of Dr. Pepper, because they share that as their favorite soda.

When Romesha spoke, he was humbled by the attention.

“I`m proud of all the soldiers that served with me that as well at the 11 years I`ve served in the Army and I`m proud of all the military men and women,” he said.

Romesha went on to say he has the upmost respect for all of the men and women of the U.S. Army and also said, "It`s great to be home in North Dakota."
