11:00am Family Feud
Family Feud is a televisiongame show that pits two families against each other in a contest to name the most popular responses to a survey-type question posed of 100 people. Representatives of the family (a total of five members on each team) are posed questions that have already been answered by 100 people. An answer is considered correct if it is one of the concealed answers on the game board. More points are given for answers that had been given by more people in the survey (one point per person); answers must have been given by at least two of the 100 people in order to be included on the board. John O'Hurley was named as the show's fifth host starting September 2006, and the show was revamped with a new look to celebrate the show's 30th anniversary. |

12:30pm Days of Our Lives
"Like sands through the hourglass, so are the days of our lives." For over one-third of a century, those words have introduced and underscored one of daytime drama's rare mainstays. Today, it remains a consistent favorite among viewers of daytime television serials.
Days of Our Lives has been a trailblazer in daytime, garnering numerous Emmy Awards and nominations, as well as armloads of "Soap Opera Digest" Awards and People's Choice Awards. The show's success derives from its consistent commitment to excellence in writing and storytelling - supported by a diverse ensemble of performers - and an uncanny knack for anticipating viewer interests.
For viewers, lunch just wouldn't be the same without their dose of Days of Our Lives. |
